NSCSS And Blueshore Financial Announces “Gala Of Grace” Charity Event To Support Women Leaving Domestic Violence

North Shore Crisis Services Society (“NSCSS”) is thrilled to announce their upcoming event, "The Gala of Grace, Presented by BlueShore Financial”, supporting women and children leaving domestic violence.

The event, scheduled for April 26, 2024, will take place at Lonsdale Quay’s iconic Pipe Shop Venue, bringing together compassionate individuals and organizations to raise critical funds and awareness for women surviving violence.

“With our 7th annual event, we hope to continue raising funds to strengthen our supportive housing and community outreach programs for women and children who need them most. No one should have to live in fear – and yet, we lose 1 woman or girl to violence every 48 hours,” said Sandra Lee of NSCSS. “Gender-based violence is a massive problem that we can solve if we work together. This event serves as a beacon of support for women courageously rebuilding their lives every day.”

The event promises an uplifting afternoon of elegance and philanthropy, featuring a live auction with distinctive lots, inspiring keynote speeches on gender equality and women's empowerment, live musical performances, and exclusive fine dining experiences.

100% of the event’s proceeds will directly benefit NSCSS’ service programs, devoted to providing essential aid and resources to women and families seeking safety on the North Shore.

"The Gala of Grace’s dedication to advancing NSCSS’s mission is inspiring, and supporting this event is a natural fit for BlueShore Financial,” said Armita Alikhani, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, BlueShore Financial. “Our partnership is anchored by a shared commitment to bring about meaningful and lasting change to the lives of women and children in our community."

Tickets to the Gala of Grace will be available for purchase on the NSCSS website in January 2024. Limited spots are available, promising an intimate and immersive experience for attendees.
