North Shore Crisis Services Society (NSCSS), in partnership with BlueShore Financial, is thrilled to announce the outstanding success of its annual Gala of Grace fundraiser, held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 in North Vancouver.

The event, which aimed to raise vital funds supporting individuals and families in crisis, surpassed all expectations, thanks to the overwhelming generosity and support of our community.

This year's Gala of Grace raised a record-breaking total of $179,835 to support NSCSS' safe housing programs and wraparound services. These funds will directly benefit women and children leaving violence, providing them with shelter, food, counseling, and more.

Event highlights include:

A traditional "Welcome to the Land” from Squamish Nation Elder, Xele'milh Doris Paul
Special music performances by Keava McCormack and Amanda Wood-Cook
Signature tea blends “Steeped in Grace” and tea booth activation, in partnership with BlueShore Financial and Steam Teahouse.
Signature cocktails, “The Citrus Bliss” and “The Lost Horizon G&T” in partnership with Seaspan and Copperpenny Distilling
Exclusive Gala of Grace floral Pickleball Paddles, in partnership with Beedie.
A spontaneous donation from Edge Catering, who generously provided our live auction with a private dining experience for 10 guests, raising $4,000 for NSCSS.

NSCSS extends its heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to the Gala’s success outside of the event as well and invites the community to continue supporting its ongoing efforts to ensure that every woman and child feels safe, valued, and confident in their future.
