About Us
North Shore Crisis Services Society (NSCSS) is a registered charity (Business # 10778 4316 RR0001) that is dedicated to promoting a secure and abuse-free environment for women and children.
We are committed to non-discrimination and our program locations are accessible. Our organization was incorporated in 1979 (#14802).
NSCSS receives funding and gratefully acknowledges support from The Ministry of Housing and Social Developement for SAGE Transition House, Multicultural Outreach Program, Outreach Program, ACE program and Bowen Island Home Safe Program.
The Society gratefully acknowledges the support of the District of West Vancouver through their Assistance Grant Program, Municipal grants from the District of North Vancouver and from the City of North Vancouver, and funding from the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Gaming Policy & Enforcement Branch, which enable the Society to provide services free of charge to women and children and to support the operation of the Society.
NSCSS relies on public and private donations, bequests and fundraising to enhance provision of services, for capital expenditures and to provide emergency funds for women, children and youth.
